Public Information carries the AA message to the general public through the media (newpapers, magazines, radio, television, etc.); also to alcoholics through those who are in a position to help, e.g. wife, husband, doctor, etc. Members of PI/CPC committee frequently visit schools and talk to students about AA.
Cooperation with the Professional Community provides information about AA to those who have contact with alcoholics through their profession including physicians, nurses, members of the clergy, lawyers, social workers, union leaders, and idustrial managers, as well as those working in the field of alcoholism. Information is provided about where we are and what we do.
